Installing and Using the ClickSend Text Notifications Extension
This article covers installing and using the ClickSend Text Notifications extension to Contact Form Ready.
Once you’ve purchased the ClickSend Text Notifications extension for Contact Form Ready and downloaded the plugin, you are ready to install the extension. Go to WordPress Dashboard → Plugins → Add New. Click on the Upload Plugin button.
Click the Choose File button and navigate to where you’ve stored the ClickSend Text Notifications Extension zip file. Select the file and click the Open button.
Click the Install Now button.
Once the plugin has installed successfully click the Activate Plugin button.
ClickSend Account Settings
You must have an account on ClickSend.com to use this extension.
On your WordPress site, go to WordPress Dashboard → Contact Forms → Settings and scroll down to ClickSend Integration. You will need the Username and ClickSend API Key from your ClickSend account. Log in to your ClickSend account and navigate to Accounts → Add/Edit Subaccounts page.
Copy the Username and API Key from your ClickSend account page to the appropriate text blocks on the Contact Forms → Settings page.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Save Settings button.
ClickSend Form Integration
You must set up each form to use ClickSend text notifications. Load a form in the form editor and click the ClickSend Integration tab. Click in the checkbox next to Enable ClickSend Notifications to enable text notifications for this form. Then enter the telephone number to receive texts in the Text Message Recipient Number text box. The number must include the + sign and the international calling code as well as a properly formatted number for the receiving country (for example, +15555555555 for a US number.)
Then click the Update button to save your settings.
